These five forward-thinking blocks – two innovative sequencers, one oscillator, a morphing filter, and an experimental noise generator – are not modeled on specific hardware. Instead, Kodiak modules combine analog character with digital power.

For my Bachelor Thesis, I designed the interface for a user-centered network visualization for LinkedIn – the worlds largest professional network.
VISIBLE visualizes the first and second degree contacts of a user. Each person is represented as a dot. By selecting a person, the entire network can be filtered and reduced to the contacts associated with the person. This form of presentation enables the user to grasp the dimensions of his network, to recognize relationships between him and others, and to reduce the amount of data presented to a relevant level..
The BMW i8 is the first sports car with the consumption and emissions of a small car. Its strength lies in the perfect synchronization of electric and petrol power.
When designing the BMW i8 HUD, we focused on the most striking features of the sports car: the speed and the hybrid drive. The driver is presented with a display that visualizes not only the levels of the battery and tank, but also the activity of the two drive types. Swirling energy flows are pumped out of the battery and the fuel gauge in the speedometer. The driver has thus always in view, which motor is active and whether it consumed much or little energy.
Paco is a smart device that is given to patients after check-in at the hospital. It informs patients about their waiting time, guides them to their appointments and stores their patient data.
The concept was developed during the course “How To Make Things Smart?” at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. In coorporation with Janis Specks and Jakob Flemming.
